Things change quite fast when it comes to movies playing in cinemas so we thought we'd take a moment to update you about some changes taking place re where HIS ONLY SON will be playing over the Easter long weekend.
Our opening weekend was pretty good but not strong enough to hold all of the cinemas we started with. There is always pressure around the strength of opening weekend and this pressure is even more intense when it's school holiday time. In some ways there is good news and then there is some bad news. The good news is that we held most of our sites around the country except (and this is the bad news) around Sydney and in the ACT. This means that come this Thursday - 6th April - that it will be a challenge to find HIS ONLY SON playing in a cinema near you if you live in those regions.
We encourage you to keep an eye on the film's website where you'll see links to cinemas that have been screening HIS ONLY SON.
There is some great news for the film given it appears that every day more and more people are discovering this beautiful feature presentation. The fact that there will be cinemas screening the film across Aus and NZ over Easter and into the following week, is so very encouraging for us ... thank you for supporting this release to help make that happen.
You can guarantee a way for your group to see HIS ONLY SON in a cinema of your choice. Its called a private screening and in many cases you only need a minimum of 50 people to secure your very own private screening at your local cinema. Need help understanding how this works? We're here for you and encourage you to let us know you are interested in this option by filling out this form. You can plan this event any time that suits you in the next two months.
